Dan joins the 20/20 Visual Media team as an experienced shooter & editor who thrives in telling stories.
From 2018-2020, Dan worked as a member of the production team at WLVT-TV, the PBS affiliate based in Pennsylvania’s Lehigh Valley. Dan juggled everything from leading the creative approach on documentaries and daily studio work, and was one of the video editors creating and mastering the station’s lineup of weekly shows.
He won a NATAS Mid-Atlantic Emmy Award for his work as director and photographer on “Counter Culture- A Talk Show, in a Diner.” Dan also received two additional Mid-Atlantic Emmy nominations for his work at PBS39. Previously, Dan worked as Multimedia Producer at NBC Sports Philadelphia producing web and social content.
Originally hailing from a small town outside Portland, Maine, Dan made the jump to the city and attended Temple University, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in 2018. While in school, Dan was honored with a college NATAS Mid-Atlantic Emmy Award for an independent documentary he shot & edited examining Philadelphia’s housing crisis. Additionally, he worked as a video editor at multiple news organizations and produced Temple Update, the university’s live, student run newscast.
Outside the office, Dan can be found traveling to the far corners of the state looking for a hike, cooking, or charming everyone with his adoring love of Boston sports.
